Temperament and size

The biggest of our small breeds: estimated adult weight of 25-45 pounds depending on generation. Calm, patient and deeply loyal — excellent with children of all ages and a gentle watchdog. Needs moderate exercise (40-60 minutes daily) and company: this is a family dog, not a yard dog. The wavy tricolor coat needs frequent brushing and grooming every 4-6 weeks.
